For Charlotte's 2nd birthday party, we kept it simple. My dad's birthday is the last week in August, Willie's is the first week in September (30th this year!), Charlotte's is the second week, baby #2 is due the third week, and my mom's birthday is the last week. Whoa! Being 39 weeks pregnant, I didn't want to host a big fussy party.
We ordered Nick & Willy's pizzas, my mom made a green salad, and I made
orzo salad, a fruit tray and
fruit dip. I ordered cupcakes from Trefzgers (My go-to cake and cookie bakery). And I made everyone's favorite iced angel food cake, continuing my grandmother's tradition.

We talked about making a #2 piñata like we did for her first birthday, but then we remembered how much work it was. I had this parrot piñata for years...left over from "Stef-iesta", Stefanie's fiesta themed birthday party when we lived together in Chicago! It had a good life, but finally met its end!
