Charlotte wanted to be a kitty this year. I made little kitty cat ears and a tail. For the ears, I bought black fur from Joanns and used pink fleece from a sweatshirt I had cut up. I had to put them on clips instead of a headband because I knew she wouldn't keep a headband on. Bre told me about this
tutorial, which I just altered to make cat ears instead of bear ears. It's really easy and you don't need a sewing machine. For her tail I just bought about 1.5ft of black maribou boa trim and attached it to a length of stretchy black sequin trim (both from joanns). I already had the long-sleeved black onesie, black leggings, and black patent maryjanes. I thought I was done, but then I ran into this darling fur vest at Target and I had to buy it. I also ended up getting a plain black hoodie and I'm glad I did since it was so cold. Then a little of mommy's eyeliner as whiskers and pink blush as a nose.

| Picking out a treat! |
We had so much fun trick-or-treating this year. It was so cute to watch Charlotte and Sam. Charlotte said the "trick-or-treat"s, but she hasn't figured out how to say "thank you" yet (It comes out like "fosh fosh" and I think she knows its not right so she usually doesn't say anything.) So Sam said the "Thank you"s. Sam also put most of her candy into Charlotte's bucket...score!

Audrey stayed home with my mom and helped pass out candy. She wore the bee costume earlier in the day. It's a knit cocoon and she didn't really like it! This is the best picture I could get. Poor neglected second child!
Hope you all had a great Halloween!
Charlotte is so cute!!
